Description

The C10U14 – Paride perforated sheet Paride visual precision, functional efficiency, and contemporary aesthetics. It consists of 10 mm square holes arranged in a straight line on a regular grid with a 14 mm center-to-center distance between each opening. This standard orthogonal pattern, referenced Qg10-14, offers 51% transparency, ensuring a subtle balance between protection, ventilation, and visual lightness. Thanks to this medium-mesh openwork grid, C10U14 Paride perforated sheet generously Paride air and light to pass through while maintaining a well-defined structure. Its straight geometric rhythm brings rigor to the volumes it covers, without ever overwhelming the eye. It offers a alternance of solids and voids, visible from both near and far, evoking a modern and fluid grid pattern that is highly prized in contemporary architecture. Mechanically, the 4 mm of residual material between the holes ensures adequate resistance to bending and lateral forces. Care must be taken not to exceed modules of 1500 mm in length to avoid significant deformation during production, in order to prevent buckling. With a transparency of over 50%, this C10U14 perforated sheet acts as a light filter, visual protection, ventilation surface, and decorative element, easily adapting to multiple layout formats. It offers excellent customization options depending on the context of use. Unlike round or staggered perforations, the square pattern in a straight alignment creates a sharper visual effect, reinforcing the feeling of order and control, and the cleanliness of the surface. The shadows cast are light, with a subtle penumbra that enlivens facades, floors, or walls. This C10U14 perforation gives depth to the light, creating a sober yet dynamic graphic effect that is perfectly suited to metal furniture, interior partitions, or light facade cladding projects. Main technical qualities of C10U14 perforated sheet metal: - Good rigidity for a perforated sheet metal with more than 50% open area. - Available in thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2 mm. - Easily customized with powder coating or oven-baked thermo-lacquer in any RAL color. - Easy maintenance, low dust retention compared to finer or angular perforations. The price of C10U14 – Paride perforated sheet metal, made of 1.5 mm thick galvanized steel, generally costs between €55 and €75/m² for an order of approximately 100 m², depending on the desired finishes and the layout dimensions of the project. For a more economical option, consider the standard C18U24 perforated sheet metal.

Uses

With 51% open area, C10U14 perforated sheet metal offers generous perforation that promotes light, ventilation, and visual lightness, but limits its mechanical strength due to only 4 mm of solid material between each hole. This model is therefore not suitable for environments exposed to impact or for high-security applications. On the other hand, it excels in architectural or decorative applications where transparency and geometric design are desired. Its regular square pattern acts as a visual sunshade, partially filtering the light while maintaining a high degree of openness to the environment. C10U14 perforated sheet metal can be used to delimit a space while maintaining visibility and ventilation, for example in shared gardens, sports facilities, and leisure parks. Its clean, modern design blends easily into urban environments. Due to its relative fragility, it should not be used in high-traffic areas or areas exposed to impact. Preferred indoor applications: The Qg10-14 pattern is widely used in transition areas such as hotel lobbies, corporate open spaces, and office or community entrance halls. It preserves natural light while visually structuring spaces. Suitable for open cupboard doors, radiator covers, island panels, or metal furniture, particularly in industrial, commercial, or minimalist interiors. Contraindications for use: -Sensitive areas: schools, nurseries, detention centers. - Security or anti-intrusion fences: the low residual material does not offer sufficient resistance in the event of impact or vandalism. - Guardrail infill: the panel is too fragile in its current state for regulated applications. Technical recommendations: - Recommended thickness: 1.5 mm to 2 mm to limit the risk of deformation. - Frame required for areas larger than 1 m² to ensure flatness.
