Description

BERTHA R8U34 perforated sheet metal prioritizes visual protection and robustness. It features Ø 8 mm round holes arranged in an orthogonal alignment (straight line pattern) with a regular pitch of 34 mm. Referenced as Rg8-34, this perforated geometry offers very low transparency, around 4.3% (≈50.3 mm² of opening for 1,156 mm² of mesh), ideal when the objective is to provide significant concealment while allowing slight ventilation and discreet light transmission. The linear pattern produces a more pronounced directional effect than a staggered pattern: the shadows form a regular grid, with a discreet but noticeable "grid effect" depending on the viewing angle. The wide solid strips tolerate cutting, bending, and rolling well with little deformation. The weight per square meter of the metal sheet is higher than with open patterns: check the loads on the frame and ground anchors if the fence is subject to wind.
